Max McCormick and Nick Fernandez combined their efforts to place second on the opening day of the Northern California I Regatta at the Richmond Yacht Club.
Competing in the Gold Division against 20 other pairs from 16 different schools, the Stevenson duo also finished second on the second day of competition over six races in choppy waters.
Teammates Abbie Zhang and Sadie Marinerstein were 11th overall on the opening day and 15th in Day 2.
Competing in five races among 37 opponents in the Silver Division, Patrick O’Hara and Dillan Spence improved upon their third place finish on the first day, by finishing second overall in their division in Day 2.
Tibet Kilic and Tyler Hwang took fifth on the first day, and fourth on the second day, while Aaron Eagle and Claire Lee placed sixth.
